It’s interesting to see how life brings us opportunities to self reflect on values that we stand for. For me, one such moment came when I was tempted by a lavish lifestyle as a billionaire’s princess. I had anything that money could obtain, except for on thing – our time together – the only reason why I entered that relationship in the first place. I quickly realized that no amount of wealth could substitute for human connection. I was there for the person, not for the conveniences that money provides. It took enormous strength and a heart in a million pieces to walk away from the one I truly loved…

Yoga marked a pivoting point in my life. At the very first class ever attended, I got strongly encouraged to sign up for a teacher’s training course. My utmost dedication and commitment paid off in becoming a certified yoga instructor. I soon established my own yoga business, and had blossomed as a teacher. I could have never imagined the love, admiration and appreciation that I received from my dear students. All I ever wanted, was for them to feel what a sacred practice yoga was, and to know that by stepping onto the mat, they are in fact entering the temple of themselves.
