I returned with the promise that my connection to the Other Side will never be lost. It manifested as a gift of direct communication and heightened intuition. It is through the intuitive impressions that I receive messages, guidance and knowing, This invisible language is the link between two dimensions.
Because my soul returned to the same body, my appearance hadn’t changed, and to everyone else, I looked as if nothing had happened. I quickly learned, however, that sharing my near-death experience with others was not easily met with their understanding. People naturally fear death and don’t feel comfortable talking about the afterlife. For that reason, I received no words of comfort or validation, and was essentially left to myself to process everything that took place. Additionally, some commonly held beliefs, particularly in the area of religion, perfectly contradicted what my recent experience had shown. I noticed that it became increasingly challenging to fit into established norms, which no one questioned, and that resulted in my lack of belonging.
